- Students applying to the HC Nursing Program must begin by applying to HC and completing the online college orientation.
- Click on HC application to download and submit your HC college application (include all transcripts and documents).
- When students have completed the HC application, they will also be required to complete the Health Sciences Application.
Entry into the Nursing program requires the following:
- A minimum prerequisite GPA of 2.8 is required. Please see the curriculum prerequisites
- A minimum overall GPA of 2.0 (will be used for a tiebreaker).
- A clean background check
- A negative drug screening
- We do not consider other academic degrees or references.
- There is no waiting list
Take the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) entrance examination and earn a minimum score of 60% overall.
- Beginning with the January 2026 admission cycle for acceptance into the RN program the TEAS test must be completed in person at a testing center. Online TEAS tests will not be accepted.
- ATI TEAS (version 6) is no longer accepted for Admission. Students must have ATI TEAS version 7 to apply to the Program
