Do you have Trust Issues?
In an age of AI, misinformation, intrusive data mining, deepfakes, rampant false advertising and the often shameless exploitation of our deepest fears and vulnerabilities: how do we navigate who and what to trust online?
While AI is a critical part of this conversation, the erosion of public trust in media and politics predates this recent hyper-acceleration of technological change. Trust Issues is intentionally open-ended, inviting eight artists across a range of mediums to engage with these questions intuitively, historically, or through their direct experience.
Artists: Jolene Lower, Fen Lettie Myers, Marcus DeSieno, Olivia Dovorany with Cristina Szyszko, KJ, Hedy Starratt and Benjamin Upcavage.
