With the on going Test Center Furniture installation, we might need to use BSSB 201 lab in this week as well. I will keep you informed if we will be done by this Friday and needed to cancel this reservation.

Science symposium that provides students enrolled in biological sciences courses an opportunity to learn real-world applications of the course curriculum from science professionals in the Hillsborough College and greater Tampa Bay community. This is also an informative professional development opportunity for faculty.

The Tampa Bay Motion Picture and Television Association in association with HCC will host a talk where a professional in the film and television industry. This talk will cover such topics as the history of film and television production in Tampa Bay, the state of the industry at present, job and internship opportunities in the film and television industry of Florida, and much more. The event will also be an opportunity to introduce new members of the Tampa Bay Motion Picture and Television Association to the college community.

Whether you need to buff up your resume or find out how to promote your unique talents, this retreat is designed with you in mind.
Florida College English Association (FCEA) Conference
This training will center around faculty related tasks and reports in Workday Student such as Assigning Grades, Verify Participation, View Section Roster, View Teaching Schedule, Teaching Dashboard, Find Courses/Sections.

Florida State University's Higher Education Administration Masters program students and faculty will be visiting HC SouthShore as part of their practicum course while visiting several Tampa Bay institutions; for overview of how the college works and learn more about program.

Conference will focus on 5 areas of Professionalism presented during a morning and luncheon session.
Morning Session is open to ALL Students:
(1) Professional Dress
(2) Professionalism in Communications (email, social media, in-person)
(3) Using LinkedIn as a Professional Networking Tool
(4) Networking/Developing 60-second Elevator Pitch
Luncheon Session will be available to students who sign-up and will include:
- Buffet Lunch
- Meal Etiquette
- Networking opportunity
Students will earn certificates for attending each session and if they attend all sessions, they will earn a Master Certificate.

This is the 2026 West Regional Science Olympiad! Hundreds of middle and high school students will complete in scientific events with various modalities, including general knowledge, builds, and labs! This is an important event in the community where competitors and volunteers alike can contribute to science in a meaningful way.
