Admissions Materials - Medical Laboratory Sciences ATC

The Dale Mabry campus offers the Advanced Technology Certificate (ATC) for Medical Laboratory Science (MLS). This is a 16-month program comprised of 44 credits.

Applicants must have obtained a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university by the application deadline. The baccalaureate degree does not need to be in a specific major; however, applicants must have completed:

  • 16 semester hours (24 quarter hours) of biological science, including one semester of microbiology; OR
  • 16 semester hours (24 quarter hours) of chemistry, including one semester of organic chemistry or biochemistry and one semester of microbiology; AND
  • One semester (one quarter) of mathematics.

A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 in undergraduate coursework.
